Terms of Use

Applies to: the Figure My Trigger mobile app.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Figure My Trigger ("FMT", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use FMT. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your account

• You may create and hold one account only.
• Sign-in is passwordless, via a "magic link" sent to your email address. You're responsible for keeping access to that email account secure — anyone who can read your email can sign in to your FMT account.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you log. FMT's results are only as useful as the data you give it.

4. Not medical advice

FMT is a self-guided tool for identifying personal food sensitivities. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition, and nothing in the app replaces advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If you have severe, worsening or new symptoms, speak to a doctor. Full details are in our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or the services it runs on
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy or resell the app's content or recipe database

6. Content and intellectual property

The app, its design and its content (including the recipe database, guidance text and calm-phase tips) belong to us or our licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Your own logged data belongs to you — see the Privacy Policy for how to access, export or delete it.

7. Liability

FMT is provided "as is". Individual responses to food and diet vary, and we can't guarantee that any recipe, guidance or test result will suit you — see the Disclaimer for details. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Termination

You can stop using FMT and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 5.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. If you continue to use FMT after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live, including your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
